Tribal Nations
MCA has been working through the State of Oregon and on or around tribal lands since 1974. We have worked with the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde (CTGR) since 2007, when we completed the Ceremonial Plank House. We have been on the site consistently for many years, working on housing and cultural-related facilities. We have also worked on various other projects related to tribal lands, such as the Native American Gathering Facility on the Pendleton Round-Up rodeo grounds.
Because of these projects, we are very familiar with Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) and the Tribal Historic Preservation Office (THPO). Additionally, we have worked with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on many housing projects, including three housing projects for CTGR. Many of our projects are subject to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), so we study it often.
